The Matchmaking Event is an ideal way to find technology and business partners through pre-scheduled one to one meetings during an event which attracts delegates and experts from across Europe and beyond. You simply need to register your profile on this platform, introduce yourself, your company/organisation and a cooperation idea and select partners of interest to you in advance of the event.
1. Registration | until the 2nd of October, midday
Registration to the Matchmaking event is only valid with the purchase of a ticket to the Nuclear South West Conference and Showcase 2019. If you haven’t got your ticket yet, please go to: https://nsw2019.eventbrite.co.uk
Please note that registrations for the matchmaking without the purchase of a ticket will be refused.
From registration to the event, there will be regular e mail updates explaining what you need to do next.
2. Set up a profile
Create a strong profile which will raise your visibility to others on this platform. Make it clear and concise. Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer potential partners and who you want to meet. A good profile will significantly generate more meetings. Don't forget your profile will be live and visible even after the event.
3. Request meetings before the event| from the 28th of August (closes 2nd October at 2 PM)
Be active not reactive. Browse other participants' profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet at the event. Adding a short message outlining why you are interested in a meeting will increase the chance that your request will be accepted. Accepted meeting requests will be scheduled automatically in your agenda.
4. Build connections
Your agenda will be ready about 2-3 days before the event; your can check your meeting schedule at all times via the website. We also recommend that you download the B2match app (available on Google Play and the App Store) to have access on your phone while at the event. Any change of schedule/cancellation will trigger an email to inform you and your meeting partner.
